  • SOME SIZE DIFFERENCE IS NORMAL

  • First you should know that 60% of the population have different size feet.  Contrary to popular belief, the left foot is, 80% of the time, the larger foot.

  • It is explained that 80% of the population is right hand dominant.  That to do any work, you can not lift with the right hand and the right foot forward.

  • Everything is in the same plain and unbalanced.  Instead you put your right hand forward and your left foot forward.  This creates a three legged stool or tripod and is stable for lifting.

  • It also exercises the foot opposite the dominant hand more, thus the slight variance in the size of the feet.

ABOUT

  • As my National honor Society project, I decided to make a website to help people in need of finding single shoes or shoes in two different sizes. This website would give links to many informational sites that can assist people with these needs.

  •   I was inspired to do this by my grandfather. He suffered a massive stroke the left him needing a brace on his foot. On top of the medical bills and adjustments needed done to the house, buying two pairs of the same shoe in different sizes was an added expense. By making this website I hope that people like my grandfather will be able to avoid the extra costs of unnecessarily buying two pairs of the same shoes.
